Comments
- The students attend, in every semester, necessarily two (2) elective subjects. One of these elective subjects is considered compulsory.
- The weekly program of studies includes compulsory attendance of three-hour holy services without credits. During these services, all in use or no use holy liturgies are performed in an exemplary way and tutorial form. The students have compulsory participation in the cantors’ chorus during the performance of the holy services.
- The foreign language may be optional English, French, or German. Examinations in the language are compulsory and the moving up result is considered preliminary for the degree obtaining, without being counted to the total grade and without credits, too.
- The total of credits for every semester is summed up to thirty (30).
- The students participate in the Choir of the Program and in every choral activity inside and outside the Academy.
- To every elective subject, if it is not regulated otherwise, two (2) credits correspond respectively.
- In order to be a graduate, every student of the Ecclesiastical Music and Chanting Program is required to get two hundred and forty (240) credits.
- The treatise of the H’ Semester of Studies is chosen by the students among the suggested topics by the tutors at the end of the G’ Semester of Studies and is worked out under the appointed advisor’s supervision. The treatise submission begins from the first days of May of the H’ Semester of Studies, regardless of the successful completion of all Program of Studies courses, and it is presented to be approved after the supervisor’s relevant suggestion and successful support, in the presence of the Academic Council.
- The students have no right to an exemption of attending the Foreign Language courses (English) for all four (4) Semesters.
