  1. The students choose and attend necessarily, in every semester, two (2) elective subjects of two-hour, weekly teaching. One of these elective subjects is considered compulsory.
  2. The weekly program of studies includes compulsory attendance of three-hour holy services without credits. During these services, all in use or no use holy liturgies are performed in an exemplary way and tutorial form and the students are given the opportunity to attend holy services (liturgies) of other Christian Confessions as well, with a parallel criticism in every sermon-homily.
  3. The foreign language may be optional English, French, or German. Examinations in the language are compulsory and the moving up result is considered preliminary for the degree obtaining, without being counted to the total grade and without credits, too.
  4. The weekly total of theoretical and training teaching hours is thirty (30).
  5. The training also includes visits to places for the practical application of the taught subjects (e.g. Holy Mount – Meteora – other Monasteries – the Holy Land – Constantinople – Minor Asia – Sine – Ravenna – South Italy – Byzantine Churches – Museums), as well as visits to places which are under the pastoral responsibility of the Church and the jurisdiction of the State (Hospitals, Detoxification Centers, Nursing Homes, Orphanages, Care-taking Centers for incurable disease patients).
  6. The total of credits for every academic year is summed up to sixty (60).
  7. To every elective subject, if it is not regulated otherwise, two (2) credits correspond respectively.
  8. The treatise of the H’ Semester of Studies is chosen by the students among the suggested topics by the tutors at the end of the G’ Semester of Studies and is worked out under the appointed advisor’s supervision. The treatise submission begins from the first days of May of the H’ Semester of Studies, regardless of the successful completion of all Program of Studies courses, and it is presented to be approved after the supervisor’s relevant suggestion and successful support, in the presence of the Academic Council.
  9. In order to be a graduate, every student of the Clerical Program of Studies is required to get two hundred and forty (240) credits.
  10. The students have no right to an exemption of attending the Foreign Language courses (English) for all four (4) Semesters.
  11. The students both laymen and Clergymen, have no right to apply for an exemption of attending the Sacred Sernres courses and the practice exercise for all eight (8) Semesters.
